NASCAR star Christopher Bell has expanded his calendar for the current season. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver will be finally making his debut in Kyle Larson‘s dirt racing series, High Limit Racing. He is ready capitalize on the end of JGR policy which prohibited its drivers from taking on extracurricular racing activities in the past.

The 30-year-old will be racing in the dirt right before the Cup Series weekend at the Texas Motor Speedway. His first race for Kreitz will be at TMS on Friday, May 2. Bell will also be racing with POWRi Elite Outlaw 410 Sprint Car Series.

This is not the first time the JGR driver has planned to race in Kyle Larson‘s series. A few weeks ago, Christopher Bell was scheduled to race in High Limit Racing at Las Vegas, when the dirt series shared a weekend with the NASCAR Cup Series.
However, rain delayed the dirt race which forced Bell to back out due to other commitments. This race can potentially see another on-track duel between Bell and Larson, creating an exciting sight for fans.
Mike Joy wants Christopher Bell to make Indy 500 debut
The Indy 500 is the ‘greatest spectacle in racing.’ The iconic race is the jewel in the IndyCar calendar, and remains one of the most important events in motorsport. Over the years, several NASCAR stars have tried to win the Indy 500.

Kyle Larson is making his second attempt at the race this year. However, NASCAR TV icon Mike Joy insists that someone like Christopher Bell should also try to battle it out at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Mike Joy was asked by Kevin Harvick if he would like to see Bell race at Indy in the near future. The 75-year-old asserted that Bell had become a star of the sport, who was respected across the field. He further brought up Christopher Bell’s 2024 run, claiming that the 30-year-old deserved to be the Cup Series champion last year. Moreover, Joy praised the maturity of the JGR driver.
Christopher Bell. He’s, wow. He will be a champion of this sport. I have no doubt. he way he handled that and the way he made his point about whether things were fair or not without taking on NASCAR, I think really elevated his status in the garage and in the sport and I think now he’s someone that NASCAR respects and listens to and I think they’re ready for him to be a champion and he is.

Christopher Bell is yet to declare his interest in racing at the Indy 500 in the future. The 30-year-old currently remains focused on stock car racing. Nevertheless, NASCAR fans can cheer for Kyle Larson at this year’s race with the 32-year-old making his second and final attempt for the time being. Larson has hinted that he will not return to Indianapolis as long as he is focused on the Cup Series. Perhaps, Bell might also try his hands at Indy after he takes a break from the regular season.
