The 2024 NASCAR season finale marked an end of an era with the 2017 Cup champion Martin Truex Jr. retiring from the full-time racing. He is leaving behind a legacy that only a few could match and despite the retirement from the full-time racing, the now ex-Joe Gibbs Racing driver still has left a lot to offer to the sport.

Martin Truex Jr. is one of the most loved racers ever in the history of the sport, with him getting respect on and off the track for his character. But there are some flaws with the ex-No:19 Toyota Camry driver like every other regular person. His former teammate and long-time close friend Dale Earnhardt Jr. have revealed one such character flow in the veteran racer.

The NASCAR Hall of Famer pointed out that Martin Truex Jr. is really bad at communication, though he always appreciated how good of friend he has been over many years. He pointed out that the veteran is terrible at text messages as it sometimes takes the Cup Series champion months to respond them.
