To celebrate reaching 1M Instagram followers we are going to donate $1 million to charities across the United States. @tdjf has identified a charity located in each of the top-10 cities where my followers reside, with each organization receiving $100,000. It’s exciting times for the foundation and none of this would be possible without the support from the fans and followers. To have the opportunity to give back in this way is truly special, and it’s all due to the tremendous support of the foundation.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. revealed the delusion that team owners usually face

Earnhardt family is known for their racing roots, and their history with operating history teams is not so recent. Witnessing this inability to carry on operations for longer his son has revealed why teams often find themselves in peculiar positions.

I've never made any money racing. I would love to know where somebody is racing a racecar and making money. It ain't happened in my life and every Cup team I've known didn't make money. But the teams think that's possible, and the teams think that's realistic and should be happening, but that's so foreign to me.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. said in his podcast

The 49-year-old himself owns JRM in the Xfinity racing series. However, he shared the sorrowful state of affairs that every team has to bear with. He explained that he had never made any money from racing and managing his team. Despite team owners reckoning that making a quick buck would be possible, he claimed that it is unheard of him, and a similar incident was witnessed in the Cup series as SHR announced that they would cease their operations after the conclusion of the 2024 season.

Apart from this, he revealed that operating JRM has not been profitable to him. However, all the expenses and revenue have made the team break even so it’s not a loss-making venture for him.
