He pointed out that, Hamlin is hardheaded, and he will not be backing down from the charter wars.
Denny’s hardheaded. I don’t see Denny sometime in a couple weeks going, ‘Alright, we’re signing it. We’re done fighting.’ I just don’t see it. He’s hardheaded.Dale Earnhardt Jr. said via Dale Jr. Download.
Denny Hamlin shares his number one goal for playoffs
Coming into the season, Hamlin was a championship contender with his three-race win helping him position at the top. But now owning to poor performances, he has found himself in a tough spot and now has to win traces to progress to the next-round. His number one goal is do exactly that, with nine more races left in the season.
I mean certainly I don’t love where I’m at. But that is a given. I still think if I just do the best I can tomorrow. Do the best I can at Bristol. It will work itself out. But if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. My number one goal is getting to a win tunnel. I got plenty of races to do that. So, I’m going to try to win atleast two races in this playoffs. And hopefully they (the wins) count towards something when I do.Denny Hamlin said.
The second half of the 2024 season hasn’t been kind to Hamlin, but he still has time to make a comeback. His number one goal is to secure the championship and in order to do that he has win at Glen or Bristol, to get back to winning ways.
