The NASCAR Cup garage was shocked when it was announced during the Olympics break that b Corey LaJoie will leave Spire Motorsports at the end of the 2024 season. They have decided to give Rodney Childers a clean slate with the No:7 Chevy team in 2025, and decided to replace LaJoie since hasn’t met expectations this season.

He admitted that the he is really wondering who would sign Corey LaJoie next season as the driver has not many options. Junior might have a long-shot at one or two Cup seats and probably some opportunities with midtable teams in the lower tiers. The JRM co-owner also admitted that one big asset LaJoie has on his side is the fact that he has good financial support.
Corey LaJoie is out at Spire. Corey went on his podcast and talked about this. I wonder where he ends up. Where in the world will he end up? His options have to be pretty limited. I think he has some financial support.Dale Earnhardt Jr. said via Dale Jr. Download.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. gives Corey LaJoie a career advice
The Hall of Famer went on to advice Corey LaJoie what he should do in the next chapter of his career. He pointed out that LaJoie should prioritize getting into a team capable of winning races over sides that would offer him a high salary.

If I were him, I would try to put myself in positions where I felt like I could win races. You may have to absolutely make less money. Your base salary might be less. That might be tough and I’m not sure what his situation is financially but being happy and enjoying what you’re doing, celebrating some wins is worth it.Dale Earnhardt Jr. said.
If LaJoie is to follow the advice offered by Junior, he would have to sign with a top team in the Truck Series using his financial backing as a leverage. He might find it hard to get a team in the Xfinity series, hence the third tier is the best option he has. It would be interesting to see how the season would playout for them.
