Kasey Kahne is one of the most famous names in the NASCAR, who though ended his career without a Cup champion have a legacy that only few from his generation can match. He has 18 Cup wins, 8 Xfinity wins, and 5 Truck race wins in his career, before eventually retiring from the sports mid-way to the 2018 season, marking an end to the 2018 season.
Though he stepped away from NASCAR racing, he was active in the dirt racing scene. Kasey Kahne has been one of the most important parts of the Kyle Larson’s High Limit Racing Series. Now the veteran is set for a NASCAR return. RCR has announced that Kahne will drive in the race at Rockingham Speedway on Saturday, April 19.

Richard Childress expects Kasey Kahne to win at Rockingham
The Hall of Fame boss of RCR, Richard Childress shared his feelings about signing the veteran in a press release. He pointed out that they have a strong Xfinity series program and has a strong driver line-up. Childress believes the No:33 car has a shot at winning with the veteran behind the wheel.
The comment from Childress shows the level of confidence he has in the No:33 car, with such an experienced racer behind the wheels leading them. It would be intersting to see how the veteran would perform at The Rock.
