NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. and family has been one of the biggest contributors to stock car racing in history, a legacy that started with his grandfather Ralph Earnhardt. Unfortunately, Junior might not be able to continue the same legacy on the track, as his daughters are not as interested in racing as expected.
But Dale Earnhardt Jr. still selfishly hopes one of his two daughters might become an athlete and continue growing the sporting legacy of the Earnhardt’s. In the recent episode of the Bless Your Heart, he co-hosts with his wife Amy. Junior revealed that his daughter Nicole might be someone who might take up sport, as she has the toughness in her, though she hasn’t shown much interest. Other daughter Isla though has tried some sport isn’t ready yet.
Really physical, tough, mean, gritty. And if anybody’s going to do any kind of sports, it’ll probably be her.

Further talking about why he wants his children to play soccer or other sport, he admitted that he really loves to have the athlete girl dad experience. His children seem to more interested in dancing, not something Junior is a huge fan of, and admitted that he might not able to immerse into it like his wife Amy does.
I’d love to be a girl dad taking her to games and stuff like that. That’d be awesome. I’m happy and proud of them and dance and all that stuff, but it’s not my cup of tea, obviously. It’s not something I’m going to go sit really, truly get into like Amy might.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. gives update on his latest business venture
Despite his challenging schedule with racing, broadcasting and podcasting, Junior finds time invest into other business ventures. One of those was the Jerky Boys, his gourmet food industry brand in partnership with friend Blake Koch. On his podcast he revealed the challenges from production cost and more he is facing.

If I give you the bag, I know you’re going to love it. No one has ever eaten the jerky and said, ‘It’s okay.’ Everyone who’s eaten it says, ‘It’s the best jerky I’ve ever had.’ We have a very regular flavor. We’re a small company, and it’s really expensive for us to make our jerky because we don’t have massive production.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. said.
Despite the challenges with cost and limited resources, they have shown solid growth, with the demand for the products growing consistently. He has a good plan to reduce the price and expand their operations in the coming years.
We don’t have a lot of dehydrators. We don’t have a lot of employees. But as demand goes up and we can make more, the price goes way down. We already have a plan. We already know where we can get the price down.
