Martin Truex Jr. details his plan for the second half of 2024
In his Iowa press-conference, Martin Truex Jr. was asked how he would approach the remaining races of the season as he is ready to retire. He doesn’t have any expectations than the usual and don’t expect his team to do anything new. But he is also determined to enjoy every race from now to the fullest.
I mean, I’m not going to approach it any differently. I don’t expect my team to either. I don’t think they will. I think it’s business as usual as far as when we’re at the track. But, I don’t know. I guess it will feel different knowing that I’ll be going to tracks for the last time or whatever in a Cup car now. I’m not sure what it’s going to be like, but I’m going to try to enjoy it.Martin Truex Jr. said.
The ex-Cup champion still has a lot to offer to the sport after retirement and he would do that by making part-time appearances. It would be cool if fans can see him racing for the Earnhardt’s again for one last time in the Xfinity Series this time with JRM.
