The NASCAR Cup Series race at Homestead Miami last week featured one of the best races of the season, that saw 23XI Racing’s Tyler Reddick won the race with a last corner move on defending champion Ryan Blaney. Championship contenders being making some poor mistakes and being aggressive helped the race to entertaining.

He questioned that some in the racing community might be rating the race such highly because of the last lap battle. Junior’s comments don’t seem to reflect with everyone in the community for one reason or another.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. didn’t actually watch the race live
One reason behind Junior questioning the race’s rating might be because of he didn’t watch the race live. Dale Earnhardt Jr. watched a reply of in a later day and his judgement might have been clouded by this fact that he was exposed to the glorifying of the event online before he saw it.
The Hall of Famer comments also show how high he rates Homestead as a racing track and why it should get a more prominent spot in the NASCAR schedule. It’s a massive disappointment that the track wont feature in the 2025 playoffs and fans would hoping that it will come back to the schedule in the 2026 season.
