I rewatched the race it was good. You know, I don’t know if I’m seeing the 10 out of 10, it was good. It had all the things that I would have expected. It was the race I would have expected to happen at Homestead.

He questioned that some in the racing community might be rating the race such highly because of the last lap battle. Junior’s comments don’t seem to reflect with everyone in the community for one reason or another.

Did y’all see something in this race at Homestead that you don’t see at Homestead or hadn’t seen at Homestead before? Aside from the pass in Turn 3 and 4 on the very last lap?

Hey, I was doing a lot of s**t this week but I was trying to pay attention to what was going on. And I did rewatch the race yesterday, thrilling finish with Tyler Reddick going around the top to beat Blaney. There is a lot of great feedback about this race… I’m assuming that everybody in the room felt exactly the same way, right?

The Hall of Famer comments also show how high he rates Homestead as a racing track and why it should get a more prominent spot in the NASCAR schedule. It’s a massive disappointment that the track wont feature in the 2025 playoffs and fans would hoping that it will come back to the schedule in the 2026 season.
