Dale Earnhardt Jr. slams Kansas Speedway for “shi**y addition” to the start-finish line

Last Sunday at Kansas Speedway NASCAR fans witnessed history in the making as Kyle Larson won the AdventHealth 400 with 0.001s gap from P2 Chris Beuscher. It was the closest a race finish ever has been in the NASCAR Cup Series. But the impressive moment in the sport was almost ruined by the crooked start-finish line.
The track officials responsible for start-finish line did a poor job in terms of keeping it straight. This initially caused confusion on the track regarding who won the race. NASCAR had to release photos from the start finish line, that was set to up to determine the finishes, to end all the confusion around it.
Now Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. has come forward giving his opinion on the matter. He pointed out that he felt like some one messed with the painting after it was initially drawn. Junior sees it as like a shi**y paint job done to new house on the side. Many in the racing community like Denny Hamlin had similar opinion.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. is set to make high-profile broadcasting return in 2025
One of the biggest surprises of the 2024 season was the announcement of Junior’s exit from NBC as a broadcaster. It’s now announced that he has joined the TNT-Prime team that would stream all the practice sessions of the season and 10 races mid-way to the year. He would be the lead broadcaster for the team and sees it as opportunity to relive some nostalgia.
I remember watching the races on TNT back in the day, and it’s so nostalgic to see them return to the sport and to be a part of their team. Junior’s introduction is massive for the streaming partners as it gives them some validity going into the streaming of NASCAR races. He will bring attention most in the broadcasting scene can never bring and is capable of getting more fan into the digital platform. It’s a wise business move from TNT and Amazon.
