It’s a connection to the blend No. 40 that Traveller’s utilizes in every bottle, so much like High Rock is 88 proof. There is a connection to the product, and I’ll be honest with you, I was indifferent…

Dale Jr. revealed that since it is also the first ever NASCAR race, they decided to give them a little skin. He pointed out that both parties have done a lot of compromises and sees giving them the number as an important compromise.

It’s Traveller’s first experience and allowing them to have a little skin in the game in terms of they were involved, they were very particular about the design of the car, and we all compromised a bit. Them having this number they identify with is I think, fair and important.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. shared his feeling about 45 expected entries in Daytona 500

The 2025 Daytona 500 is set to feature around 45 cars according to the latest reports. Dale Earnhardt Jr. sees it as a good sign about the health of the sport and highlighted that its always good to see if less cars shows up for the event.

Good sign of health but also the economics of it is the car count. If you’re going to start 30 cars and 40 are there, that’s great. If you’re going to start 30 cars and only 28 show up, it’s concerning.

The comment from Junior shows the sports is currently getting back to the good sport it once was and might be able to get back to its glory days. It would be interesting to see if all the expected 45 cars would show up for the race and who will be the five racers that would fail to qualify for the event.
