The former NASCAR star’s climb to stardom was not easy. Danica Patrick started karting at the age of 10 but had to cut back on her racing dream due to lack of funding. Despite this, she pushed through the challenges and made her debut in IndyCar in 2005 and scored three poles in her rookie year. Moreover, she became the first woman in IndyCar’s history to have won a race, cementing her name as a legend in the series.

The 42-year-old later switched to stock car racing but had mediocre success with her securing a pole being the highlights of her career in the Cup Series. Regardless of this, she has pushed through the challenges that she has faced throughout her life and has gone on to convey that anything is possible with the right determination.

Danica Patrick was present at the US GP in Austin, despite speculations regarding her ending ties with F1

On the other hand, F1 has returned to racing and was scheduled to take on the COTA in Austin this weekend. With this race being a Sprint weekend, fans anticipated major celebrities to take on the grid, but unexpectedly, Patrick was also aboard the F1 hype train in Austin as Sky Sports called her on as an analyst for the weekend.

However, fans expressed their frustration over social media platforms regarding Sky Sports’ decision to bring her as an analyst at Austin. This could be tracked back to her role in the Netflix Drive To Survive Series earlier this year. Thus, her role at the US GP might be controversial according to fans, but the British sports group thinks otherwise.
