The iconic American singer and songwriter Darius Rucker is reportedly partnering with Legacy Motor Club as a co-owner. He will join the leadership of NASCAR legend Jimmie Johnson and Knighthead Capital Management. Notably, Legacy Motor Club undertook the existing Petty GMS Motorsports owned by yet another NASCAR legend, Richard Petty. Jimmie Johnson became the sensible replacement for Petty to lead the team, as they both boast a highly successful NASCAR record. Now, Johnson is looking forward to working alongside Darius Rucker as a co-owner.

In a recent appearance on the Dan Patrick Show, Darius Rucker announced that he will be joining LMC. He continued that he has loved the sport for many years, and joining the team made sense to him. Notably, Rucker is a three-time GRAMMY Award winner and recently achieved a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
