The NASCAR Cup garage is at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the first race of the round of eight and the drivers are determined to face the three challenging races. The events at Vegas, Martinsville and Homestead, will be an entertaining as the first two rounds of post-season featured some wild card events instead of the usual short track races.
Defending Cup winner Ryan Blaney is one of the drivers in the chase for the championship and coming into Las Vegas, he is really confident considering it’s a track he always cherishes. He pointed out that Vegas is a very underrated track and many often overlooks how great racing is at the track, which everyone loves.
He went on to highlight the fact that the No:12 Ford team has always been productive at Vegas, despite not being able to convert those solid runs to wins. But he seems confident that he can secure a win, overcoming the bad luck to score a win.
Ryan Blaney had the worst start possible in the chase for a win at Vegas
The all dreams Blaney came into Vegas with was shattered after his car wrecked during the practice. He was forced to take the back-up car and was DQed from the qualifying, so will have to start dead-last in the race, which is huge setback for their championship-4 hopes.
The No:12 would have to pull-off a miracle to maximize on the points scored at the end of the day and position themselves in a good spot going into Martinsville. It will be interesting to see if Blaney can recreate his clutch form from 2023 and get out of the mess.
