Joe Gibbs Racing veteran Denny Hamlin after the New Hampshire race weekend asserted that there is no rivalry between him and HMS’s Kyle Larson. The claim was made despite the fact that they had multiple questionable run-ins on the track this season and past season, though they are close friends outside the track.
Ahead of the race at Nashville, Kyle Larson addressed these claims and pointed out that he can’t completely agree with Denny Hamlin. He asserted that they do have a rivalry, but it just more situation and time bound. Now the 23XI Racing co-owner has responded to these comments via his podcast Action Detrimental.

This is picture perfect. Plus got Chevy vs. Toyota. You've got two of NASCAR's two teams competing for supremacy. This has everything you want, all of the juicy storylines you want, that you look at and say…Have these drivers, two great guys, Hall of Famers, all time greats, go at it?' Hell yeah! If you're NASCAR, you're wanting this, you are rooting for this to happen.Jordan Bianchi said.
Hamlin and Larson being in two opposite spectrums in terms how much the passionate NASAR fans base loves them really helps the sport. It’s huge opportunity NASCAR should tap into and use to attract the casual fans to the sport.
