2017 NASCAR Cup series champion Martin Truex Jr. is arguably one of the greatest drivers of his generation and is among the most respected racers in the sports history. The race fans saw the Joe Gibbs Racing legend race for the one last time as a full-time racer in the 2024 season finale at Phoenix Raceway.
The community showed their support to Martin Truex Jr. with gesture including a wholesome standing ovation during the drivers meeting. Now his longtime teammate and fellow veteran Denny Hamlin has come forward sharing his opinion on the veteran’s retirement and hailed the ex-No:19 Toyota driver as a constant professional as a teammate.
While further talking about Martin Truex Jr., the No:11 Toyota driver admitted that he and the whole racing community is going to miss the presence of the racer and everything he brings to the table. Hamlin also wished MTJ the best for his future.

2012 Cup champion Brad Keselowski, who has been a longtime rival of Truex Jr. asserted that the ex-JGR driver is a great personality and a very hard worker. He also shared the inside joke they have regarding sending images of beers between them.
