The whole NASCAR garage was actively involved in the rescue efforts of the Hurricane Helene victims at North Carolina. The government, local agencies, and charitable organization are working together to get relief to the victims of the natural disaster throughout the state. Ex-NASCAR star Greg Biffle was a key figure in these efforts.

Greg Biffle, who is now a helicopter piolet, was involved in a lot of air-lifting missions in the state. He and fellow piolet, using personal funds and with the help of some NASCAR team owners such as Rick Hendrick, helped everyone they could. So, the racer was honored by NASCAR, inviting him to Charlotte Roval to be the honorary starter.

It didn’t stop there, as NASCAR driver and race officials showed their respect for their drivers in the pre-race drivers meeting. They gave the 19 times Cup race winner a standing ovation. It was a heartwarming gesture Greg Biffle deserve and something he will always remember.
