The most promising female racer in the NASCAR garage, Hailie Deegan came into the 2024 season with the hopes of proving her worth to the stock car racing scene after three underwhelming years in the Truck Series. But her Xfinity Series season stint with AM Racing didn’t last long as they had to part ways due to her underdelivering and having a different goal compared to the team.
Many in the racing community expected her struggle to secure another seat soon. But fortunately, it seems Hailie Deegan is on the right track as she has had talks with Haas Factory team to drive for them in 2025. Joe Custer, revealed at Indy that his team doesn’t think Deegan Xfinity run is over and pointed out that she has a lot left to offer.

Yes, we’ve spoken with her. Obviously, she was with one of our technical partners, so that’s a challenge, right? To see what the future is with her. We believe there’s more in her, you know, and we want to be part of that. But that’s for future conversations.Joe Custer said at Indy.
Gene Haas have an history of giving female driver the big opportunities in NASCAR. He was the one that brought Danica Patrick to NASCAR with Stewart Haas Racing giving her Cup Series and Xfinity Serie opportunities, making her the most accomplished female race car drivers in the history of stock racing.
Hass will announce their 2025 Xfinity series line-up soon
Gene Haas doesn’t have any plans to stop his Xfinity Seres operation, despite the announced ceasing of Stewart Haas Racing. Joe Custer has confirmed that they will field two cars as usual next-season and will be announcing their line-up soon.

There is no lack of interest’ in the two Xfinity Series cars that Haas Factory Team will field next year says Joe Custer. ‘We’re getting close’ to announcing those drivers.Kelly Crandall reported.
If everything goes right, it’s a win-win situation for Haas and Deegan. She will have a seat with a team that knows how to win championships and how to handle inexperienced drivers. On the other hand Haas Factory Team will get a talented driver who can bring a lot of sponsorship and attention to the team.
