Hailie Deegan breaks silence on her “DREAM” Xfinity Series move collapsing over ‘unaligned goals’

Hailie Deegan came into the 2024 NASCAR season with a lot of hopes as she finally got the Xfinity Series seat, she has been dreading for a longtime with AM Racing. She was determined to prove herself again to the doubter after having three underwhelming years in the Truck Series. But she has now found herself in a worse situation than before.
When Hailie Deegan joined AM Racing, they were a midfield team capable of winning a race in their day. But they failed to be as productive as they used to be in the 2024 season and Deegan failing to live up to expectation made it worse. This forced them to part ways after giving the No:15 ride to Joey Logano at Chicago. The racer took it social media to share the news and disappointment.
Beginning this season, I had a lot of excitement and hope in taking my next step in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. It’s something I’ve been working towards for years and always dreamt about. I worked hard to prepare for this season after the team pursued me to drive their car. Unfortunately, it has not turned out the way that I expected.Hailie Deegan said via a statement.
She went onto highlight that there are multiple reasons for her decision to call an end to the journey with AMR. She admitted the goals she has no longer align with the Ford team and that has made her part ways with them.
There are always several reasons within a race team as to why things do or do not work, but sadly our goals no longer align. With that being said, myself and AM Racing will be parting ways.Hailie Deegan added.

The Ford team also released a statement announcing the decision and thanked the racer for all her contribution so far in the 2024 season. They also wished her the best for the next-chapter which is yet to announced.
We are grateful for Hailie’s contributions and dedication as the driver of the No. 15 Ford Mustang during her time with the race team…We wish Hailie the best in her future endeavors and look forward to her continued success on and off the track.AM Racing said via statement.
Once the dust settles over the exit, Deegan will start working on finding a seat for her for next-season and maybe one or two races this season. But with the disappointing 2024 run, it won’t be an easy job for her to land a seat.
