But unfortunately, more disappointments were waiting for her in the second tier series.

AM Racing decided to cut all the ties with Hailie Deegan ahead of the Chicago Xfinity race, because of her poor racing performance. But amidst all these tough times her fiancé Chase Cabre has been a strong support for her. Recently while talking about the new career move and her life via Keeny Wallace’s YouTube channel, she explained why she doesn’t wear her engagement ring often despite being engaged for over a year.

She revealed it’s a question she often gets and has a great answer for it. She pointed out that, as she is someone who is almost active with tracing or non-racing project all the time, she finds it is best not to not wear it as she doesn’t want to lose the ring or the diamond. Deegan wants to keep it safe and sees using it in the right occasions as the best way to do it.

I actually get this a lot. I barely wear my ring, like I’m always working on stuff. Like I’m working on the go-kart at the house. I’ll be out mowing the lawn and stuff so I am constantly working with my hands so I don’t wear it that often. If we go to dinner I’ll wear it and stuff, it’s more like an accessory but I am gonna knock the diamond right off of it if I wear it all the time.

I was a little overwhelmed at first going out. So, I’m like, ‘OK, pit road button.’ And then there’s these lights flashing at me, warning alarms. And I’m like, ‘I need to bypass those real quick.’ And then looking at shift light, there’s just a lot going on. I feel after the second session, I figured out what is important or don’t worry about that, bypass that. So, I’m getting the hang of it.
