NASCAR Hall Of Famer, Dale Earnhardt Jr calls himself out for cussing on live TV ‘again’
Dale Earnhardt Jr
Dale Earnhardt Jr, NASCAR Hall of Famer, was an important part of NBC’s Super Bowl Pregame Show as he drove alongside Rutledge Wood around LA, checking out some of the hot spots in and around town. Dale Earnhardt Jr called himself out, after an embarrassing yet funny incident that took place when the duo stopped at Universal Studios to talk to Hollywood superstar, Jeff Goldblum.
As part of the promotion of the upcoming Jurassic World Dominion movie, they staged an instance of confronting a velociraptor and Jeff Goldblum “calming” it down. But things didn’t go according to the plan as the dinosaur flashed its teeth with a quick snap at the trio, scared the hell out of Dale Earnhardt Jr who screamed “Aaah!”
Dale Earnhardt Jr then revealed that their fear was genuine as it wasn’t part of their rehearsal that happened last week “That didn’t happen during rehearsal during the week”. Moments after the segment Jac Collinsworth calls out Earnhardt for his response saying “Junior is all good at 200 miles per hour. Just don’t come up in that blind spot though.”
Dale Earnhardt Jr called himself out on Twitter for his reaction and something he did was that the camera failed to spot, Tweeting “I think I just cussed on live tv (again),” pointing to his time in NASCAR where his words cost him more than just a hefty fine.
The time when cussing cost Dale Earnhardt Jr more than a heavy fine
It’s not the first time Dale Earnhardt Jr got himself in trouble as his costly mistake came back in 2004 in Talladega. He was asked by the reporter about his win in the superspeedway to which he replied “It doesn’t mean s*** right now. Daddy’s won here 10 times,” he added.
But the S-word cost him a lot as NASCAR docked him 25 points in addition to a $10,000 fine. The point deduction saw Kurt Busch knocking him out of first place in the season standings. This time around, Earnhardt luckily doesn’t have to worry about losing points or money.
