‘I have absolutely zero regrets,’ Austin Cindric on wining the Daytona 500 toping his teammate Ryan Blaney

Austin Cindric who started only his 8th cup series race in his career, after a promotion from the Xfinity Series to replace Brad Keselowski who moved on to RFK Racing, secured the historical Daytona 500 trophy edging Bubba Wallace and teammate Ryan Blaney in the last lap of just another chaotic race in Daytona International Speedway.
Austin Cindric who started the race at P5 stayed at the top alongside his Penske teammate Ryan Blaney with the help of amazing teamwork shown by Ford drivers where they drifted together pushing them forward from fellow competitors.
Following multiple crashes in different stages of the race it came o the last laps of the race where it was a three-way fight between Austin Cindric, Ryan Blaney and Bubba Wallace. Austin Cindric was successful in blocking Ryan Blaney who made an effort to advance on him from outside and edged Bubba Wallace just before the finish line taking his Number 2 Ford Mustang to victory.
Now Austin Cindric has expressed his feelings on wining Daytona 500 by defeating his teammate, Ryan Blaney.

Austin Cindric acknowledged that he has zero regrets on winning the by blocking his teammate Ryan Blaney in the decisive last lap in Daytona. Austin Cindric went on to say that him and everyone around him in the last lap went for the top finish and it just worked out well for him.
“I have absolutely zero regrets. I think that everybody behind me put themselves in position to win the race and I think I did the same and, obviously, it worked out quite well,” Austin Cindric said.
Austin Cindric went on to say he is really proud of what team Penske and ford achieved together with the teamwork throughout the race and once again stating he has zero regrets and complaints about the race.
“I’m just really proud of the effort, proud of the teamwork there, proud of the teamwork with Fords throughout the race, so I’ve got zero complaints and zero regrets,” Austin Cindric added.
