23XI Racing’s Bubba Wallace has had a roller coaster of a season in 2024. He came to this year with the hopes of continuing his impressive 2023 form and scoring back-to-back playoff runs. But he is now 13 points off the P16 places Joey Logano and is in a tough position on his journey toward playoffs.

The playoff entry might not be the only concern for the racer as his contract is coming to an end this season. With the sponsorship and attention, he brings 23XI will surely give Bubba Wallace a contract extension, but the duration of it would depend upon how much better he can perform this year.

While discussing the 2025 contract situation of the drivers, Fox Sports’ senior NASCAR reporter Bob Pockrass has confirmed that he would be coming back for next year. He also discussed Tyler Reddick’s contract situation as well.

Bob Pockrass gives his verdict on Alex Bowman’s HMS future

In the same report, Pockrass also discussed the future of Alex Bowman with Hendrick Motorsports. He asserted that the No:48 driver will remain with the team in 2025 and might land a mult-year deal if he can secure a win and have a solid run this season.

Alex Bowman is signed through at least next year. While this is the seat most talked about possibly coming open at Hendrick, his recent performance should be enough to keep him in the car. A win, though, would really help quiet the speculation.

Bowman and Bubba Wallace seem to have a seat for the upcoming season at the moment. It would be interesting to see the duo’s career payout beyond the 2024 Season, as they have to perform at a high level to justify their stay.
