Xfinity rookie of the season Jesse Love brands Martinsville race as a “Mickey Mouse” event
Young racer Jesse Love has shared his opinion on the lack of racing etiquette shown at the Martinsville Xfinity race.

The 2024 NASCAR Cup season has seen many senior personal of the sports sharing warning about the current state of the sport, with races becoming more aggressive than ever. The Truck and Xfinity series are seeing the worst effect of it, with the final laps featuring more crashes that ever as rivals are taking advantage of each other with aggressive moves.
This Saturdays Truck and Xfinity races were no different, with both featuring over aggressive clashes. Young racer Jesse Love, who won the Xfinity Series rookie of the season, has shared his verdict on the race and admitted that it was a Mickey Mouse show, with everyone desperate for a championship-4 entry. He highlighted there is a lack of respect in the sport between drivers.

He went onto explain why some drivers are right to be aggressive as they are doing in unintentionally. He pointed out that for racers, there is no choice but to be aggressive when the rivals start to race him that way.
Jesse Love was guilty of aggression at Martinsville as well
As the youngster suggested, none can stay out of the aggressive racing drama, and he was involved in a similar incident as well. Riley Herbest and he made contact during the race, the short track tempers fly and also admitted that eh slightly overreacted at the moment.
The youngster concerns about the lack of respect are a good sign and shows that not very young racer is okey with the aggressive style of racing. NASCAR need such driver who cares about racing etiquette for the good future of the sport.
