The 2024 NASCAR Cup season has yet again been a massive disappointment for Legacy Motor Club. Since moving to Toyota Racing, the team has struggled perform at the level expected of them, considering they are getting top tier support at TRD. But the latest comments from the team’s owner Jimmie Johnson shows some positivity.
The seven times Cup champion in a recent appearance at SiriusXM NASCAR radio, Jimmie Johnson explained the changes coming to Legacy Motor Club. He pointed out that the team finally has the pieces in the right place to start the 2025 season strong. The No:84 Camry driver asserted that the addition of new crew members to the team will be a game changer.
The LMC veteran in an interview after the season finale, rated his teams 2024 season. He added that they tried everything they could and despite the lack of success, sees it as a very transformational year with Toyota.
