The 2025 IndyCar season is getting a lot hype, with the sports going through some big changes. Foix Sports getting broadcasting rights and their trailer for the new season has put a lot of eyes on the series. Now they have set the ground for another major promotional opportunity with two sporting legends joining forces to field a car.

The seven times Cup champion Jimmie Johnosn, who has raced in the last two Indy 500 will field a car in the 2025 Indy 500, alongside NFL legend Tom Brady. Chip Ganassi Racing, who the NASCAR Hall of Famer raced with in his two-year stint in the open-wheel racing series, had made the unique partnership possible.

They will field car for Sebastien Bourdais according the reports.  The French racer is one of the most successful and experienced in the racing scene, with previous race outings in F1, IndyCar, LeMans and IMSA. It will mark his 11th Indy 500 start, with the previous 10 outings earning him the best finish of P7. He will be hoping to have a redeeming run with the leng3ends as his team owners.

Jimmie Johnson is set to face NASCAR champion Kyle Larson at Indy 500

The Legacy MC co-owner isn’t the only NASCAR driver that will be associated with IndyCar next-season. The 2021 Cup champion kyle Larson is set to make his second start in the Brickyard race with the front runners McLaren.

He was the rookie of the season also year in a race, where he missed out on a solid finish owing to a pit-speeding penalty. Larson also missed the Coke 600, the same day owing to destructive rain delay. So, he is coming with a lot to prove this year.

The star driver now has a better plan and experience on his side, making him a contender on the eyes of many race analysts. It would be interesting to see how the special Indy 500 entries would perform in the great American race.
