The team bus fire wasn’t the only mess JGR had at New Hampshire
Joe Gibbs Racing driver Christopher Bell accidently made a bigger mess at New Hampshire during his press-conference. While talking about his leadership role at the team, he accidently revealed that Chase Briscoe will be joining JGR in the 2025 season the replacement of Martin Truex Jr. he instantly regretted the mistake and nervously smiled.
While many drivers and individuals associated with the racing community saw the hilarious side of the incident, the damage was done as team lost the advantages they would have had if the announcement was made officially. Now the team has to come up with some ways to sort the situations.
That's a big deal, right? Like the driver announcement is a really big deal and I completely fudged it up. I've never in my life screwed up that bad. And that was a huge, huge mistake and I'm very glad that they took it easy on me.Christopher Bell said.
The No:20 Toyota driver seems very disappointed with his actions and would be hoping that his team will be able to salvage the situation and get something better out of it. The best thing he can do on Sunday is win the race and make people over the drama.
