The 2024 NASCAR Cup season was a year of ups and downs for veteran racer Josh Berry. He had an average rookie season with the No:4 Stewart Haas Racing Ford, replacing 2014 Champion Kevin Harvick. His main goal this year was winning the rookie of the year title, as winning races was on the cards for SHR owing the poor performance of their cars.

The ex-JRM driver had the upper hand at the start of the season, but as the year progressed, they lost grounds to the youngster who was improving every other race. He then praised the impressive performance from the young Spire driver.
While further talking about the point, Josh Berry asserted that he is disappointed that he didn’t win the award after the tight battle. He admitted that after the poor result from Darlington started the end of his fight for the best rookie award.
Josh Berry his overall experience of the 2024 season
The ex-SHR driver while talking about his debut season admitted that it was challenging experience. But it also gave him the opportunity eh craved for many years and he is grateful for that, alongside the fun he had racing at the top.
The upcoming 2025 season is going to be a new challenge for Berry as he is set to join Wood Brother Racing to drive the No:21 Ford. It would be a rough challenge and if he failed to produce impressive performance, his career at the top might be on the line.
