(Video) Justin Allgaier celebrates NASCAR Xfinity championship with boss Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. was probably the happiest person after his driver Justin Allgaier won his maiden Xfinity Series championship in Phoenix.

Never giving up appeared to be the mantra of Justin Allgaier at Phoenix, which could justify his career in the Xfinity series. After making it to the championship four seventh time this year, he was able to achieve his dream and become a NASCAR Xfinity Series champion. Subsequently, witnessing his driver take the crown, Dale Earnhardt Jr. celebrated with the 38-year-old in the pitroad.
Justin Allgaier started from the rear of the pack while his rivals were slated to start at the sharp end of the field. Moreover, his race was further worsened by him getting hit with two penalties, which made him a lap down at one point in the race. This urged experts to glance over Allgaier’s chances among the four finalists as his prior championship four results did not favor him either. However, the JRM driver was on a mission and wanted to overturn the mistake that he did a few months ago.
So Allgaier kept his head down and slowly progressed through the field. This helped him clinch the second-place in a race that was hit with multiple overtime restarts. Most importantly, he finished ahead of the other three finalists, which deemed him the 2024 Xfinity Series champion, a feat that JRM owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. had achieved.

With the JRM outfit in a rave, the 50-year-old would be proud of the work that the whole squad has done. Allgaier’s persistence had helped him in Phoenix and would be eager to comeback next year as the reigning champion and take on the title defence task.

With the No.7 driver soon approaching his 40s, he was considering hanging up his helmet after winning the Xfinity Series championship. Subsequently, when he finally achieved his dream, the thought of retiring soon crossed his mind. On the contrary, he did not announce about his retirement during the winning celebrations, which he later elaborated upon.
Allgaier revealed how he thought his contract renewal with JRM was his last chance at the championship. So when he achieved his goal, he thought his work was done on the Xfinity field. However, by becoming a champion, he got the motivation to continue in the series.
Thus, after a 14-year-long struggle the 38-year-old veteran was able to fulfil his dreams. The whole JRM squad was happy with the outcome of the race, a feeling which resounded among NASCAR fans.
