One of the major changes that NASCAR fans are excited about the 2026 season is the return of Dodge to the sport. They are set to field three challengers in the Craftsman Truck Series, under the RAM brand. Recently there have been rumors that legends Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne will race for the team in the third division.
Now Kaulig Racing, the team that will field the RAM Truck, have addressed the rumors. He has confirmed that they don’t have any contract with Tony Stewart or Kasey Kahne at the moment. But he did confirm that they have had conversations with the duo, alongside every racer that has once driven a Dodge car.
We do not have a contract with either one of those guys. Do we have a conversation about those guys? Absolutely. Do we have a conversation about everybody who drove their Dodge car? Absolutely, you put in there every single person that’s been in a Dodge car, right?
Chris Rice said via SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

He even joked about giving an opportunity to FRM Truck driver Layne Rigg’s father Scott Riggs, who has raced with Dodge once. Kaulig Racing have had discussions with all these drivers and are willing to give opportunities to some of these big names, if they are available. But at the moment they haven’t signed any contracts.
Let’s talk about Layne Riggs’ dad. I think he drove a Dodge we were talking about him the other day, you know? I mean, so we’ve talked about all those guys, and are they? Are they going to drive a truck? I mean, if it’s available, we would love for anybody to drive a truck that would like to that’s driven a Dodge car before, or RAM, but there’s not, there is no contracts with us…
Chris Rice added.
The one Truck for part-time drivers isn’t the primary concern for Kaulig Racing anyway, as they are getting ready to announce two permanent drivers who can compete for race wins and potentially championship in the 2026 season.
Yet, we have two other trucks that we have to announce the drivers for, and when RAM is ready to announce those drivers, we’ll do it. But as of right now, they do not have a contract with us.
Chris Rice asserted.
Tony Stewart’s wife becomes target of AI scammers
Recently, Tony Stewart’s wife Leah Pruett sent a warning to her fans on social media. Some scammers have made fake social media accounts with her images and was trying to scam money. She pointed out that anyone speaking to these fake accounts should be concerned.

Scammers using Al at it again! I’ma make it reeeal easy for anyone thinking they’re ‘talking’ to me online… you’re not. You’re just not. I love my husband, my family, and take 3-5 business days or months to answer back to anything except, family or anything racing or true friend related.
Leah Pruett on his Instagram story.
The comments from the star drag racer shows her commitment to her fans as well as the busy racing schedule they have had. At the moment, the couple is more focussed on racing and their son Dominic at the moment.
