The 2024 NASCAR Cup season has seen a lot of dramas on and off the track. 2004 Cup champion Kurt Busch was among the few former drivers involved in the controversies outside the sport. The veteran, who retired following a serious injury in 2022 while racing for 23XI Racing, was arrested for DWI this year.
The future Hall of Famer, Kurt Busch pleaded guilty to all the charges and was sentenced by the court recently. He was given community service as a punishment, and he forfeited drivers license. The court verdict also included a suspended 60-days sentence and unsupervised probation for a time period of one year.
During all this saga, Busch was absent from the social media, but now he has returned and has a message for the fans. He admitted that he has been reflecting and working on his life over the last three months and added that he appreciated the support he got from the community. Busch has now shifted his focus towards having fun again.
I know things have been quiet on my social lately. The last 90 days was my priority and a reflection period, working on myself.
