Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson is set to make racing history this month. He would become the first driver since Kurt Busch to pull off the memorial weekend double duty by racing is the Indy 500 and the Coco Cola 600. Larson will make his IndyCar debut with Arrow McLaren in a car sponsored by HendrickCars.com.

Kyle Larson being one of the most talented racing drivers in the world made many predict him as the one of the contenders for the win. This includes former Indy 500 winners like Marcus Erickson. The fans as well are hopeful about the No:5 HMS driver and it reflected in the fact that he has the second most bets placed on him. Larson has addressed this surprising situation.

The 2021 NASCAR Cup champion sees it as a crazy bet considering he is just a rookie. He pointed out that some people might be wasting their money by betting on him. But he is also hopeful that he might be able to win the race at Brickyard and prove few people wrong and help his fans to get an hefty payday.

Kyle Larson admits everything is happening bit to quickly around Indy 500

As the IndyCar debut race coming closer and closer every day, Larson admitted that things are getting a bit quicker that normal for him. He is now working on making sure that he can understand and get more comfortable with things like pit-stops.

Right now everything is happening kinda quickly, just pit lane stuff. It's so busy, my awareness is super high. But as I get more comfortable, it's just going to be become second nature hopefully, and then all of the on track stuff will hopefully be fine.

Once Larson get comfortable around the new stuffs and make it kind of second nature, he will be able to easily be among the top-10 contenders for the win. Since Indy 500 is one of the most uncertain races in Motorsports, it would be interesting to see if Larson can come out victorious.
