Everybody wants to end up racing for a team that can showcase their abilities and talents and hopefully (they) can win lots of races and championships. Thankfully, we’ve been able to do all of that.

Kyle Larson said via RACER.

He has enjoyed every moment he has at the most successful team in the sports history and asserted that he is surrounded by some great people at the team. Talking about his boss Rick Hendrick, he pointed out that the Hall of Famer is one of the greatest people he has ever seen in his life and also hailed Jeff Gordon as one of great leaders.

So, I’ve enjoyed my time at Hendrick Motorsports and being surrounded by great people is awesome, too. Rick Hendrick is probably the greatest person I’ve ever had in my life besides my wife, kids, and parents, as far as being a role model and all that. Rick and Jeff Gordon, especially. There are just so many great leaders there.

Kyle Larson added.

Kyle Larson wishes he had joined HMS earlier

Talking about his time with Hendrick Motorsports, he pointed out that if he had signed with HMS earlier, he would have won the same number of races as the greatest racers of the sport. But that doesn’t mean he is unhappy about his time with Ganassi Racing, as he believes it moulded him to the great racer he is.

It’s been a great time, and part of me wishes I could have been there a long time ago, and maybe my numbers would be closer to the great-greats of the day. But I’m also grateful for my time at Ganassi because I think it’s definitely helped shape me into a better, more well-rounded race car driver like I feel like I am today. I hope to be at Hendrick for a very long time…

Kyle Larson said.

The comments from the No:5 Hendrick Motorsports shows how much he cherishes his time over the years with the team. The 23 wins and championship he has won in the last four season speaks volume of his contribution. As things stands there a lot to left to offer to HMS from Larson.
