Hendrick Motorsports’ Kyle Larson has been the pick of the pack in the 2024 NASCAR Cup season. The No:5 Chevy has won six races so far this season, the most of any on the grid and the fact that all these wins are spread throughout the season is a testament to his consistency, further asserting his position as a title contender.
Kyle Larson, while talking about his prospects of making it out of the Round 8 that will feature solid short track races, is possible for his team as they have been fast and consistent throughout. He also highlighted his team has been really good overcoming adversity and that gives the team an advantage going into the finale.
Our team will make the Championship 4 because we’re fast, we’ve been there a few different times already so we have the experience of knowing what it takes, and I think our team does a good job of overcoming adversity when it’s in front of us.

Majority of the racing community sees Larson as favorite to win the championship, with Denny Hamlin and William Byron being strong contenders. But nothing is concrete at this point, as he has to maximize on the points and use the positive momentum to his advantage.

Last Sunday was really impressive for Kyle Larson and the No:5 Chevy team, as they won at Roval with unrivalled dominance. What made the win really special for the driver was the fact that his whole family was present at the track cheering for him and later joining him at the victory lane.
It just makes it really great when you can win at the Charlotte Roval and everybody scarifies so much time away from their families, so when they bring their wives and kids to the racetrack and then you get lucky enough to win that day and get to give those memories forever, it’s great. It’s always fun.

The win has given the team huge confidence while getting ready to fight one of the hardest Round of 8 of all time. It will be interesting to see how the Kyle Larson and his crew can execute on the track in the coming race weeks.
