The most exciting thing we saw yesterday was William Byron’s pass in the grass It was not a pass in the grass, yes he passed, but it was astroturf, they paved that. They put turf over that for safety reasons so there’s no longer grass out there. Even the great pass in the grass with Bill Elliott and Dale Sr. was not a pass. They maintained their positions, that’s just a great name for a piece of art... I think William Byron reasserted himself as the championship favorite.

Willaim Byron has set himself in the right position to win his maiden championship with already winning three races this season. Alongside his teammate Kyle Larson and Joe Gibbs Racing’s veteran Denny Hamlin, Byron would be challenging for the regular-season and well as the main championship this season.

While talking about how the day ended for him at Charlotte, Byron pointed out that the No:24 Chevy was good the whole race. He is happy he was able to secure a solid P3, despite the toe-bent he got after hitting the wall during the race.

Our race was good. Our No. 24 Liberty University Patriotic Chevy was really good the whole race, but then we got a little bit of wall contact there and bent the toe just a little bit. That was a bummer, but I still feel like we had good potential in the car. It was just hard to put it all together, but we came home with a third-place finish and that was a solid day for us.
William Byron said.

The 2024 season so far has been nothing bum impressive for William Byron and he is clearly going to be a consistent contender for the win in the coming races. It would be interesting to see how many wins the No:24 team can win before the playoff start.
