New Hampshire Motor Speedway hosted the 18th race of the 2024 Cup season on last Sunday and it was impressive race with much required drama. The rain delay, the new wet tiers made the race more uncertain with driver spinning out and crashing. JGR driver Christopher Bell survived the whole chaos to win his third race of the season.

While talking about the race ex-NASCAR racer and sports pundit Kyle Petty assessed the race shared his verdict in video shared on YouTube bey NASCAR. He seems really impressed with how the wet tier changed the game and asserted that wet track made the race one of the best t ever in the history of NHMS.

New Hampshire. It never rains in New Hampshire. It always rains in New Hampshire when there’s a NASCAR race, and this weekend was no exception. But I thought the rain and the wet track made it one of the best New Hampshire races that I’d seen in a long long time.

Kyle Petty was impressed with the performance from Christopher Bell

While further talking about the race, the veteran highlighted that JGR star Christopher Bell was really impressive in the race and asserted that he produced a masterful performance. He pointed out that understanding how the track changed because of the rain was significant in his way to yet another win of his career.

Christopher Bell did a masterful job of maintaining and understanding what the track was doing and understanding how he needed to change his positions on the race track.
Kyle Petty said.

Bell in his post-race interview made the same claim as Christopher Bell. He pointed out that the wet tier made the show better for NASCAR and for him the different condition made the race an absolute blast.

For NASCAR to run in the rain like that — or not in the rain, but run in the damp conditions on an oval, I mean, it ended up being hopefully a good show. You can answer that more than me, but I had a blast. It made it different.

The win has placed Bell is solid place to secure the maiden Cup series title of his career. He is getting better as the season progresses and it would be interesting to see how many more races he can win before the season came to end.
