The NASCAR Truck Series garage lined-up at Milwaukee for the first playoff race of the 2024 season and didn’t disappoint. Layne Riggs, who narrowly missed out on the playoff despite strong regular season upset the whole garage by securing his maiden win of the season and by putting most of Truck garage in a tough spot with just two more races left in first round of the championship chase.

He finished P1 in the LiUNA! 175 ahead of the likes of Corey Heim and Ty Majeski, the championship favorites. The wild factor about the race didn’t end there as an overjoyed Riggs injured himself during the celebrations. He dislocated his shoulders while celebrating the victory by fist bumping into the air, as he usually does.

He was seen tucking his hand inwards with visible physical discomfort after a few bumps. His crew was quick to come the rescues and they helped him descend from the hood of the Truck and later two crew members put his shoulder back on place. They started celebrating again through this time Layne Riggs was cautious.

I was celebrating so hard. It hurts like a mug, but it was worth it. It's not the first time it's happened to me, but it ain't gonna slow me down.
Layne Riggs said.

With the win, Riggs proved that he is the promising talent that teams should invest in and will be an asset for Front Raw Motorsports going forward. He will be hoping to get at least one more win before the season concludes as it would help him to make a case for immediate Xfinity promotion or one to the Cup series.
