- Tyler Reddick secured his second consecutive win at Atlanta Motor Speedway, following his victory at the Daytona 500.
- Michael Jordan praised Reddick's performance, calling it "unbelievable" and celebrating with the 23XI Racing team.
- The team's hard work during the off-season has paid off, leading to strong early-season results and momentum in the championship chase.
23XI Racing’s Tyler Reddick started the 2026 season strong with an impressive win at Daytona 500 and has backed it up with another strong run, to win at Atalanta Motor Speedway. He survived a late wreck that damaged the front of his Toyota Camary, held of strong runs from Chase Briscoe alongside Ross Chastain to win the race taking advantage of the mistakes from Carson Hocevar and Bubba Wallace.
The 23XI co-owner Michael Jordan was over the moon after the win, as he got to celebrate and hoist the trophy for the second straight week the first time in his career as a race team owner. He was seen hugging and enjoying the moment with the whole 23XI team while also consoling heartbroken Bubba Wallace. On his post-race interview, the NBA legend hailed Tyler Reddick for the unbelievable run that earned him the win.
I can’t say anything. Tyler did an unbelievable job. Both teams did an unbelievable job. Look, I wanted one of them to win. I feel bad for Bubba (Wallace), obviously, because he had an unbelievable day, but Tyler drove his a** off. I’m very happy for Tyler, I’m very happy for 23XI.
Michael Jordan told Fox Sports post-race.

Further talking about the point, MJ highlighted how the win was the product of the hard work from the 23XI crew in the off-season. They worked hard despite the uncertainty over the team’s future during the charter lawsuit. Jordan seems to believe that the wins his team has secured the last two weekends prove they were right to invest in the crew during the off-season after the tough 2025 season, that yielded just one win.
The guys worked hard all summer. I know we had our little ordeal, but they never gave up, they kept working hard, and this is the fruit of their labor. They put forth the effort, and for us to come out and win the first two races says a lot about our whole team.
Michael Jordan added.
23XI Racing co-owner Denny Hamlin almost cost Tyler Reddick the win
Tyler Reddick wouldn’t have won the race if he had suffered a bigger damage to his car when he was collected in a wreck involving his boss and JGR racer Denny Hamlin, while they were running outside the top-30. He was able to grind his way back to the top five and secure race win on the double overtime.

Man, I really didn’t know. We were back there in 30th after we got collected with the 11 [Denny Hamlin], and it was definitely running loose, and we were able to make an adjustment on it. I don’t know, it just kept stacking up in the middle and top lanes, and I just found a way to get back to the top five.
Tyler Reddick said.
The back-to-back wins, alongside the back-to-back top-10 finsih of their primary drivers puts 23XI Racing in strong spot early in the championship chase. They have the momentum going into next weeks road course race at COTA, where Reddick will be strong and the No:23o of Wallace is expected continue securing top-10 finishes. It would be interesting to see how everything is going to playout for them in the coming weeks.
