Coming into the NASCAR Cup Series playoff race, the 23XI Racing drivers had a lot to prove. For the regular season champion Tyler Reddick, it was to maximize points and secure a spot in the Round of 8, which was the same for his boss and JGR veteran Denny Hamlin. For Bubba Wallace, it was secure a front row finish and continue his road course racing growth.
All three drivers successfully completed their objectives, despite some setbacks. Denny Hamlin and Tyler Reddick made contact during the race, causing both cars significant damages. But both survived without any serious consequences. 23XI co-owner Michael Jordan was among the happiest on the grid on Sunday, seeing his drivers succeed.

Jordan didn’t forget Bubba Wallace as well. The No:23 Toyota driver shared a video where they are seen hugging and having a conversation about how good he has become in the road courses, on the pit-road. The 23XI owner seems really impressed with the growth from Wallace and team, who often finish outside the top 20 in initial days, but now are regular top 10 contenders.
Bubba Wallace is happy to finish P9 in the race
While talking to the media after the race, Bubba Wallace admitted that it was an impressive day for him at Roval and asserted that they have run pretty decent at the track. He added that the hard work he and the team put in paid off for them.
The TRD driver has found some momentum going into the last 4 races of the season, as he continues his chase to end the winless stare that has started two years ago. It will be interesting see if Wallace will be able to score a win in the R-8 and also help his teammate Tyler Reddick to make it into the championship-4.
