Tyler Reddick has been a frontrunner throughout the 6 rounds of the NASCAR Cup Series 2022 season and if not for the unfortunate incident that took place, he would have already had a win in his pocket. The Richard Childress driver has had two top 3 and two top 10 finishes this season all of which he could have had a win if not for his bad luck.

Now the No:8 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driver has come forth suggesting that he will soon be at the victory lane celebrating his first win of 2022 amongst the strong competition due to the Next-Gen car’s introduction.

This new car is everything that NASCAR told us it would be and everything we thought it would be. It’s a really hard car to drive but it’s also really fun to drive. You have to work for every spot and it’s so competitive. Every track is different now and there’s so much to learn and that’s always exciting,Tyler Reddick said.

Tyler Reddick went on to say that his team and he are going to find the victory lane soon though luck and speed haven’t been their friends yet this season.  He added that he will continue to learn from the COTA race and keep working on the simulator and will be even more ready for the next road course. He stated that the team is now more focussed on doing their homework for Richmond.

I know my team and I are going to find Victory Lane soon because we’ve been strong every single week. Sometimes luck hasn’t been on our side and sometimes we just couldn’t quite get up there but our Chevys have been so fast and so good on all of the tracks. We will continue to learn from the COTA race and keep working on the simulator and be even more ready for the next road course race. But we’re focused on doing our homework for Richmond,” Tyler Reddick added.
