The 2023 season saw Michael Jordan’s NASCAR team 23XI Racing taking another huge step towards their ultimate objective of securing the Cup title. Bubba Wallace and his new teammate Tyler Reddick with their impressive performance on the track were able to lead the team to a season with a double playoff appearance.

Reddick on his debut season for 23XI scored two wins and finished the season with an impressive R-8 appearance. Wallace on the other hand, despite going winless, was able to end the season as one of the Top-10 drivers securing R-12 entry in his maiden playoff appearance. R-12 was the goal given to the drivers by the Denny Hamlin co-owned team at the start of the season.

While talking about what to expect in the future with the team, Bubba Wallace pointed out that Reddick gaining enough experience with the team in 2023 means the growth process of the team will expedite from 2024 and beyond.

What are 23XI Racing’s plans for the 2024 season?

Bubba Wallace went on to detail the plans 23XI has for 2024. He pointed out that they want to consistently be among the top teams at every track from next season. Wallace believes with the new shop and new arrivals on the team, along with their willingness to do hard work, they can achieve a lot.

I think, there’s a lot of races where we were the top-performing two as a team, and I think we want to do that more. And so, we’ve got all the right people in the right spot. The new shop’s going to pump some new life into our guys and into ourselves, and we’re gonna go out and work our asses off this year.

With the objective of the R-12 appearance achieved in 2023, the goals of 23XI in 2024 will be to secure multiple wins and get into the championship-4 race at Phoenix. They will also be looking into ways to better their position in the owner’s championship.
