Christopher Bell left Vegas disappointed after getting ‘the short end of the stick’ Bubba Wallace’s retaliation on Kyle Larson

Christopher Bell got caught up in Bubba Wallace’s retaliation on Kyle Larson, which once again put the No:20 driver’s championship hopes in vain. Bubba Wallace wrecked Kyle Larson after the latter send him to the wall.

Bell’s Camry was heavily damaged following the crash. Though the Joe Gibbs Racing pit crew tried to fix the car they failed to do so within the allotted 10-minute Damaged Vehicle Policy clock period. Bell was awarded the P34 finish by NASCAR. He was the lowest-placed Round of 8 contender on Sunday.

Christopher Bell is once again in the playoff hole. He was in a similar position going into the last race of Round of 12. He impressively won the ROVAL playoff race to secure promotion to the cup semi-finals. He has to reproduce the same run in either of the coming races at Homestead Miami and Martinsville.

Christopher Bell pointed out that he was caught up in Bubba Wallace’s retaliation against Larson after he was sent to the wall. He said, “Just the [No. 45], Bubba, got run into the wall and retaliation on his side. We got the short end of the stick,”.

Christopher Bell said that it was a disappointing result for him and they are capable of racing for the championship. He said, “It’s disappointing because our performance is capable of racing for the championship, and it doesn’t appear that we’re going to get to. Just disappointing,”.

When asked about whether he wants Bubba Wallace to be suspended, he said that he wants NASCAR to follow the protocols in penalizing him. He said, “Follow [the] protocol of whatever they’ve [NASCAR] done in the past,”.

Christopher Bell said he hopes to secure another decisive win as he did in ROVAL. He said, “The good thing is I feel better about winning one of those two races than I did winning the Roval. We’ve just had strong Camrys, really all year long. We will see if we can go pull another rabbit out of the hat,”.
