Cole Custer, who won the 2023 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship, after an impressive battle in the season finale at Phoenix, is enjoying the post-season. He attended the high-octane NFL game between the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers. The Stewart Haas Racing driver was there to support the Saints.
He enjoyed the game from the sidelines and later hung out with Saints’ running back Alvin Kamara. The NFL star is an ambassador of the sport and has been part of many marketing initiatives for the premier stock car racing series. He has even released a new wave of merchandise as part of the collaboration.
Custer was wearing one of the mechs, a black hoodie that featured both the NASCAR logo and the AK logo representing the footballer. Ahead of the game he went onto the field and snapped a picture with Kamara who was ready to get the game going. Sharing the picture online, Custer joked that he is ready to play for them if needed.

Cole Custer left the game a happy man after Saints’ convincing victory
Going into a Saints versus Panthers game, it’s often a race to see NASCAR drivers pulling for the former to win. This has to do with the fact that the majority of NASCAR operations are based in North Carolina and most drivers are settled there as well. So, they often see the Caroline team as their hometown team.
Custer is not one of them and he was in for a treat as the Saints won the game 28-6, ending their three-game losing streak. Kamara played a vital role in the win, as he was the first to score a touchdown point in the game, a nine-yard touchdown in the second quarter.

Derek Cark with two touchdown passes was the Saints star man in the game. Two of those passes came in the final quarter, which played a vital role in helping the team secure the win. Saints have three more important games left in December with the likes of the New York Giants, LA Rams, and Tamba Bay Buccaneers.
