With aggression, attitude, and sheer winners mentality Noah Gregson has everything to mark himself as one of the best in NASCAR but the youngster’s NASCAR dream has been constrained by the lack of full-time cup series opportunities. But now, Noah Gregson has everything to establish himself as the next big thing in NASCAR.

The current JR Motorsports, a team co-owned by NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr., will make his full-time NASCAR cup series debut next season in the No:42 Chevy of Petty GMS Racing.  He will be replacing the outgoing Ty Dillon to join forces with Erick Jones after spending four years in the Xfinity series making a name for himself.

Noah Gregson, who currently has a part-time driving cup driving deal with Beard Motorsports, sits P3 in the Xfinity regular season championship which is his career best. He has won three Xfinity races this year and has been consistently the headline career for the series with his on-field antics and aggression.

Noah Gregson pointed out that he sees a similarity in opportunities and operations at Petty GMS Racing when compared to his current Xfinity team JR Motorsports. He pointed out that the PGMS team has a family atmosphere surrounded by great individuals and leaders which. He added that getting hired by such individuals and getting the opportunity he always craved for has truly humbled him.

With where I am at right now with my racing career and JR Motorsports, how that operation is run, the whole atmosphere they have… that’s kind of what I see over here at Petty GMS. It’s a family atmosphere, great people, great leaders, and for a 24-year-old guy, for them to take the opportunity and want to hire me, it is truly humbling,” said Noah Gregson.

The Petty GMS chairman and one of the NASCAR GIOATs Richard Petty acknowledged that they are excited to have Noah Gregson with the team as he has been a proven championship material in both Truck and Xfinity series. He added that the youngster will be bringing in the fire that he has to the No:42 garage.

We’re excited to have Noah join the Petty GMS family and climb in the No. 42 next season. Noah’s proven he can win in the Truck and Xfinity Series and compete for championships, and we know he will bring that same fire with him to Petty GMS next season,” Richard Petty said.

Petty GMs Racing owner Maury Gallagher acknowledged that just saying Noah Gregson is a tremendous talent is an understatement as he has been watching the youngster’s greatness since the time he made his racing debut on the west coast.   He pointed out that Gregson has shown commitment, desire, and ability to win at every level of NASCAR arcing.

Noah has shown tremendous talent throughout his career in a statement. I’ve watched Noah from a young age competing on the West Coast to now competing at NASCAR’s top level and he’s shown the commitment, desire, and ability to win at every level,” Maury Gallagher said.

Maury Gallagher went on to say that as the PGMS team enters his second full-time season in the cup series Noah Gregson is the right addition to the mix. He pointed out that having the experienced Erick Jones and Gregson on the team will surely make them contenders week in and week out.

As we move into our second year of competition in the Cup Series, Noah is a great fit for our organization and I think with Erik and his experience, the two will prove to be contenders each week,” Maury Gallagher added.
