Christian Rose, the No.32 Ford Mustang driver for AM Racing, did not hide his frustration after a late-race accident with Venturini Motorsports driver Conner Jones. After the ARCA Menards Series race Reese’s 200 at Indianapolis Raceway Park, Rose confronted Jones as he got turned off the front bumper of the Toyota Camry. It was a heated argument and prompted Rose to slap Jones’ hand. The latter’s crew jumped in to take action.

The crew member with a ThorSport Racing polo shoved Christian Rose, which made him even angrier. He yelled at Jones and the other people. A crew member from his team, AM Racing, tried to pull Rose away from Jones to end the argument. However, it already got spicy. Christian Rose was angry as he missed out on a potential good finish which would have been his career-best in the ARCA Series.

Due to the damage on his Ford Mustang, Christian Rose was three laps off the pace and finished the race in 10th. Meanwhile, Conner Jones finished 6th after the incident. Jones also has another big race at the Indianapolis Raceway Park as he will compete in the Truck Series. NASCAR fans had a mixed reaction to the heated argument due to the accident.

NASCAR fans had varied opinions on the incident. “That guy had no reason to get involved, let the Drivers talk it out,” and “Guy with the ThorSport shirt had no business doing all that” were two comments. The fans did not like that another person was involved in a fight between the two drivers. They stated that “Crew guys got to let these dues fight” as they feel it will make them show respect to each other on the track.

One user had a funny response saying, “I went to the store to buy Reese’s and missed this.” However, most fans were against the crew member who got involved and called for his suspension. “Tough ass crew member in gas station shades should be suspended” and “Agree that “Mr. Sunglasses” in the Thorsport shirt should be banned from ARCA tracks and events for laying hands to initiate violence on a driver” were two of the comments. Take a look at more below.

After the race, Christian Rose took to Twitter and shared how he felt about the situation with Connor Jones. He tweeted, “So much I want to say but I’ll keep my mouth shut. Proud of my guys for fighting all day, on to the Glen. I’ll say the 4 leaders had no problem passing us clean, figure what you want out of it.” It is safe to say that he is not happy with the events that unfolded at IRP.
