Former NASCAR and IndyCar driver Danica Patrick ha never been shy off sharing her political stands. She is a self-proclaimed conservative and has often associated herself with the right-wing political policies. Recently she sat down with author, streamer and YouTuber Isabel Brown to gave an insight into her political affiliations.
While discussing on the topic of whether the political left has lost the support of women in America? with the 2024 presidential election in the horizon, Danica Patrick details some factors in the left-wing policies that are passing people off. She highlighted vaccine mandate; the controversial changes being made to the curriculum etc. as factors making people mad about the left.
It’s one thing to come after adults because you can kind of have your own …when you come after the kids, I think that’s what really pisses people off. So, whether it’s the vaccine or whether it’s what they’re being taught in school. I think that’s where you really fire people up that don’t want to have, I don’t necessarily want to deal with it all and are just living their lives. But they’re like, look, now I can’t even go about my general life without feeling like I’m, I, without being pissed off.
Danica Patrick told Isabel Brown.
The only female IndyCar race winner in the motorsports’ history pointed out that the policies she listed out is forcing people, who often overlooks the politics and just live their lives, change affiliation. Danica Patrick in the same interview also detailed what made her mad about the left win policies.
Danica Patrick reveals why she is mad at the left
Patrick, before detailing why some people are mad at the left, had explained why she is pissed off by the left as well. She has found herself in a situation where it is tough to live her own life ignoring all the political noise and that is making her mad about the situation.
I feel it's happened and I can, I guess I'm using myself as an example. You start messing with the sky and you start messing with the air I breathe and the food that I eat. I can't get away from you now. …. And so that's the kind of thing that really started to make me mad. And I think that one of the other things that's happened in the last year.Patrick said.
Dania Patrick towards the end of last year received a lot a slack online after she attended the Turning Point USA event with conservative host Charle Kick. But the backlash doesn’t seem to have had any affects on her and her recent cements shows she had embraced the conservative political spectrum more.
