NASCAR lost one of the most respected personalities of the sport, Sherry Pollex, towards the end of the 2023 season. She was a long-time partner of 2017 Cup champion Martin Truex Jr. and had done some commendable charity work to support woman and children suffering from cancer.
Following the demise, ex-NACAR Danica Patrick created some controversies for her comments calling out Martin Truex Jr. for mis-treatment of Pollex. Patrick used some serious words in the social media post she put out on Instagram.
Patrick was asked about her words by ex-racer Kenny Wallace in their recent interview for his YouTube channel. She pointed out that her anger towards Truex Jr. came out of her experience with him on the track and claimed that she was praised by many for speaking out.

The ex-SHR driver had a previously admitted that she was often raced unnecessarily hard by the 2017 Cup champion. Hence Patrick can’t be blamed for thinking Truex Jr. is a person with such a character, but at the same time the words she used at that moment were bit extreme.

Patrick on the same interview talked about what she has been doing now after retirement. She revealed that she has been exploring more into spirituality and religion over the last few years. She claimed that it was something she has always been interested in.

It explains why Patrick has been making a lot of social media posts sharing crazy and controversial stories around science and spirituality. She seems to have found a new purpose in life after ending the race career she has invested most her time in.
