The fans had mixed reactions to NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin’s view of the movie. “Only the Bill Elliott Barbie doll could’ve saved the movie,” was one of the replies. The user referred to the Bill Elliott doll, a Barbie Collector Edition. Produced by Mattel and designed by Sharon Zuckerman, it was released in 1999. Hence, one fan joked that only the Bill Elliott Barbie doll could have saved the film. However, it does not matter as Barbie rules the worldwide box office collection.

“Don’t disrespect Peak Cinema like that, bro” and “Pretty sure you weren’t the target audience they were aiming for” were two comments. It is safe to say Hamlin’s tweet did not sit well with the fans, as they disagreed with him. However, another user said, “I’ll take your word for it. I can only imagine what absolute disaster it is.” Take a look at other reactions below.

Denny Hamlin’s Barbie movie review was quite surprising because the movie stands for promoting feminism. However, like Hamlin, Ben Shapiro, a conservative, showed his hatred for the film. Though people are entitled to their opinions, some views on the film are harsh and reflect one’s ideology.
