Joe Gibbs Racing veteran driver and 23XI Racing co-owner Denny Hamlin has signed a contract with NASCAR Hall of Farmer Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s podcast production firm Dirty Mo Media. Hamlin, who has already been part of the different podcasts hosted by the firm as a guest, will now host his own podcast next- season.
The podcast is named “Actions Detrimental with Denny Hamlin,” and the first episode of it will be aired on February 2nd, the day of LA Clash at the Colosseum’s first heat race. Dale Jr. and his co-host Mike Davis played an instrumental role in convincing Hamlin to venture into a podcasting role. This will tighten up an already filled schedule Hamlin have as being with two different teams makes his roles as owner and driver hard.
Dirty Mo Media already has a TRD and 23XI insider working for him. Bubba Wallace’s spotter Freddie Kraft hosts a podcast with Brett Griffin, and it is one of the fan-favorite shows aired by the media house. Denny Hamlin now has a platform with a wider audience, to which he can share his options and suggestions to improve the sport.
Hamlin wants to connect to fans and become a reliable resource for them with the new venture. He said, “I am approaching podcasting the way I approach everything else — I want to win. Winning in this sense will be measured on whether I can become a dependable resource for NASCAR fans. That’s my goal. I want to connect with fans, even those who cheer for other drivers,”.
The No:11 driver wants to give fans the unique NASCAR driver perspective on things. He added, “I want to enhance their NASCAR experience by offering a perspective they can’t get anywhere else. I want them to be able to hear directly from the drivers and team owners. If I am able to do all that, we will have succeeded,”.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. reveals why he got Denny Hamlin onboard
For Dale Earnhardt Jr., Denny Hamlin is a perfect addition in terms of content quality and marketability. He has a special connection with NASCAR fans and is a character that polarizes stock car racing fans.
His outspokenness and straightforward attitude are something that will give an element of uniqueness to the firm. Dirty Mo Media’s seven-figure Cadence13 deal has allowed them to go beyond producing just a handful of content, and Denny Hamlin is a good place to start.
Jr. is planning to use his polarizing fame and opinionated, at the same time, an entertaining character in his podcasts. He has unparalleled insights about being an owner and driver simultaneously to share. Just like the fans, the JR Motorsports owner is excited to see the outcome of his decision.
“Denny is one of the more polarizing individuals in the sport right now. We know he can be candid, opinionated, and entertaining as a driver, but he also is very insightful on the challenges and thrills of team ownership. This is going to be fun seeing Denny create content, and I am excited that he is doing it with Dirty Mo Media,” Dale Jr. said.
