Part-time NASCAR driver Gray Gaulding has been arrested by police at North Carlina. Hence, he has been suspended from taking part in any category of NASCAR. He has competed in 11 NASCAR Xfinity Cup Series races in 2023 and was one of the biggest prospects in his junior years, before falling down the pecking order.

On April 2, 7:17 AM ET on Tuesday Gray Gaulding was arrested by Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office on a misdemeanor Crime of Domestic Violence charge. The number 8 was later bailed out and released at 12:42 PM ET on the same day, according to reports from TobyChristy.com.

As of now, after the release, a court date hasn’t yet been selected for the driver’s trial. NASCAR released a statement saying that the driver has been suspended from racing until a verdict is given. Only time will tell what will happen to the driver ex-Rick Ware Racing (RWR) driver.

RWR’s Cody Ware was arrested for assault last year

In April 2023, Rick Ware Racing driver Cody Ware was arrested due to allegations of domestic violence by the Iredell Country, North Carolina Sheriff’s Department. Following this, the driver was suspended by NASCAR until a verdict was given.

The number 15 was accused by his ex-girlfriend of assault by strangulation, following his retraction from the race at Bristol due to personal reasons. Ware, was later bailed out and proceeded to attend court trials.

In December 2023, after 8 months of continuous trials and court hearings, the charges were dropped and the driver was given a clean chit. Later, after the verdict was given, NASCAR reinstated the driver and let him take part in NASCAR racing categories.
